Welcome to the community!
My best guess for this appointment would be this years E3, which is all about PvP. 'Bonnie' is all about the Esports scene. I know this because she's well known in CoD Pro Circuits (which i follow) and former Halo Pro. First ever female MLG Pro player... so yeah…
she can be in my fireteam. ^_^

When I saw the original tweet on another forum my initial thought was NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!. And the amount of ridicule on that games site mirrored my own worry. She may be a great gamer and smart girl, but as soon as you start using your looks to sell a game (and a quick google by anyone will show some of the sexual outfits) it cheapens the whole game - and also gives the appearance that the developer is worried about the games ability and has called on the window dressing to distract the nerd gamers (and disrespect them in the process). Maybe not fair ... but as soon as you start exploiting you cannot expect it not to work both ways :( And it works ... got me to return to b.net. And so far my worry is confirmed. Checked out the updates and there is not a lot of actual game information. A lot of stories about coffee, air travel, and "not saying" what will be in the game - and yes, some pretty still graphics. Put it all together and I am thinking mmmmm - and not in a good way :(

See, I don't WANT MLG guys. Invasion was a perfect game mode. Just fix the spawns and remove Banshee+Scorpion.
-
Not true. None of it is true. My intern made that tweet. He was trying to look hip with the kids. Nice going, dad. You're fired.
-
Welcome to Bungie, Bonnie.
-
She is a cutie isn't she. I'd be distracted too
-
I seriously hope Destiny makes it to the competitive circuits.

Edited by FadedPanda: 5/6/2014 10:38:59 PMWhel s#hit, how do expect them to deal with the amount of stress they're under without a cute as$ to slap every now and then.
Destiny will never be finished due to sexual harassment charges towards all Bungie enployees.
-
Wasn't she in OXM way back in the original Xbox and Halo 2 days?
-
So much autism in one thread.
-
That confirms Destiny is a truck load of crap ... time to bring in the hottie to district the nerds and keep them speechless. Can't wait to hear DeeJ interview her about the new role as the Bungie Booth Babe.
-
Eh, she's cute.
-
Edited by Charlemagne: 5/2/2014 2:36:14 AMShe was really big in the Halo community (during Halo 2) I believe. Anyway, I openly welcome her to the team. She'll only make it better. I linked an article I found that explains a bit about her.
-
That's nice.

It's funny how all these companies are picking up former professional players. They obviously realize that Esports is very big now and the demand for more competitive gameplay and features are required. I mean 343i just got done hiring Bravo, Neighbor, Dersky, Ghostayame, and now another guy from the MLG production team. I like the direction companies seem to be going.
-
A welcomed distraction, imo. I hope she plays the Beta with us. Then I can wreck her face and 'lol' all -BLAMMING! day!
-
Interesting News, thanks for the post. From the article Charlemagne posted I think it sounds about right that she will be helping with the PvP E3 demo. It should only make it better to have a pro player showing off the competitive multiplayer.
-
Apparently DeeJ is a free kill in PvP. lol.
-
pretty bad ass. So if as u say she is in the Esports Scene ( which i know jack shit about) that would lead one to speculate that PVP will be ranked/ Ladder etc? What are your thoughts wonka? In Bungie We Trus7

Edited by Cicero J Faraday: 5/2/2014 1:37:15 PMShe's pretty cute. Anyways, I'm glad to see there's hope for ranked pvp.

Coolness.
