At the center of our solar system, claiming all life as its legacy, is a burning egg of light called Sol; and longer ago than it is practical to detail burst flaring from it two immeasurable squid of scorching solar radiation: The Dueling Squid of Sol. Scarring space itself in their wake as they seethed at speeds of light so ponderous that motive energy made up devastating amounts of mass, these Dueling Squid thrashed and bit and tore at one another across the length of Sol's gravitic domain until it seemed that the planets, and the other celestial squid themselves must be immolated. Jupiter gently burned, while Pluto thawed and crackled.
Still, after some eons of contest even these titans began to expend their godlike substance; although a clear victor had not been decided, they must return to their furnace cradle to renew themselves. And so in time they dove back into Sol, still swinging their whips of fire and ire. One day they will emerge again to continue the duel, and when that day comes the solar system will be nothing more than a trembling, smoking stage for the ravages of the Dueling Squid of Sol.
