This question from the Mail Sack got me thinking:
Roo Halo had its own announcer in multiplayer to inform players of the events in the matches. Will there be a new announcer in Destiny, or will all the information be on-screen?
Let’s just say that you’ll always understand your motivations as a Guardian, and there will always be people to motivate you.
I know there is already a thread about who we would choose to be the voice of our Ghost, and I know that it will most likely only be Peter Dinklage, but what if we really did get some level of customization with our Ghost, and what if our Ghost was the announcer to replace Halo's iconic voice of affirmation.
Even if they had 5-10 voices to choose from, it would be pretty awesome. But think further if we got to create personalized messages. At 5 kills, I want my Ghost to say
"This would have made your father proud"
or at 15 it would say
"You need to spend more time outside, sir"
. Maybe I could when I kill the same player 3 times in a row I would have him say
"You should send him a thank you card later"
You get the idea. So what do you think? Will Ghost customization be an option? Will our Ghost be that voice of affirmation DeeJ was referring to? And most importantly, what would you have your Ghost tell you in the heat of battle?

I'm a British guy but I utterly hated that voice in the crucible. Would much rather have micro-transactions for a library of voices. For the Ghost and the announcer.

Nothing and I mean nothing will replace my memory of hearing the halo announce say "Slayer."
