Bombs and traps would be a nice touch but, judging by the speed of that Devils Lair gameplay, I would say it's a no-go.

6 RepliesA double edged Celtic Leaf Blade Sword and Dual Wielding ability and I would be one happy Hunter being able to cause so much chaos and death. Especially with that Ghost Blade ability. Wahoo! I'm a headshot oriented sniper so I'm a bow and arrow accuracy fan as well, but since the only added value I could see Bungie tacking onto archery is some explosive arrow heads and the Thunder Lord is going to have EX-rounds anyway (when fully upgraded) I just don't see much point including it. Even though I love the weapon so much! That is really saying something by the way coming from a guy of English decent (ie family name is from England, I'm American). If Bungie could think up something else to make a bow and arrow unique ability to include it in the game with a niche role and surprise me, I would be even happier.

1 ReplyBombs & environmental traps have already been confirmed. At least in the form of proximity mines. It was stated in the January podcast. The Gamespot article summarizes some of the finer points including the use of prox mines.
