Ammo in Competitive Play

There will be an ammo count. They are actually using ammo as a handicap for online competitive play. What i mean by that is: In Halo you had weapons drop from the sky so that even a noob could get a rocket launcher and do some kind of damage. This helped so that anyone was a possible threat. In Destiny you can't drop weapon because the weapons you find out in the wild are your weapons in competitive play. So, what they decided was the best option was to drop ammo instead. No, not just basic ammo either. In Destiny you have 3 weapons; Primary, Secondary, and Special. When you start competitive play you will have no ammo for your special. The ammo drops are for your special weapon. Halo Influence. Now something else interesting. In COD you have kill streaks. Of coarse COD benefits Veterans more than Noobs but it also makes things more intense while fighting if you have to watch out for attack helicopters. In destiny Activision apparently wanted some form of "Kill Streaks". So, in destiny as you get kills you get energy. This will be how you use your focus. So if you want to use NOVA BOMB you will need to stay alive and kill other players to get energy. Thus giving you a "kill streak". COD Influence

  • There are other ways in getting ammo for example the sniper rifle closing time, when you upgrade its skill tree there is a perk which allows you to shoot the ammo crate and gain ammo for the third weapon.
