Lightning FFXIII Fan Art
I haven't done a Destiny-themed art piece yet as I'm still working on human faces, portraits and my other weak points in art so I can do a good one.
This is my first portrait that I've done and I'd like any feedback whatever it is. I drew this using pencils of varying shades and it took about 8 hours to finish. Like Plain Ben said earlier, I found that since the scanner requires an extremely bright light to run over the image to scan it, it was bleaching the art a bit and making it all look light. Now I'm doing what many others on DA do with pencil art; digitally darkening them so they look like the original. This is how it should look like and I've posted a link in this comment to the new version so you all can see it. Since I am entering this in a physically located art contest, I am still re-working the original so it'll look good for the people there and using all the great comments and advice everybody's given me.
