How do you react if you're having internet problems, or none of your technology is working in general?
I get pretty agitated when I get network problems.

Flashlight. Book. Nice and easy.

Edited by coolmike699: 4/20/2014 4:24:41 AMA storm knocked out our power for 5 days 2 years ago. It sucked because it was 95 degrees outside that week, too. I worked and read a lot that week. Now, I keep a lot of extra batteries around, and I charge them every time that I know it's going to be stormy. I'm way better prepared now.

Do productive and good things.

If there's a thunderstorm or something and my power and internet go out I don't care much as it's understandable, but if it's just a regular day and suddenly I can't connect to the internet I get pretty pissed. That happens fairly often with my shitty ISP, but they have a monopoly in my area on high speed internet, so I basically have to put up with it unless I want to go back to dial-up.
-
No Internet- It doesn't actually ever cause problems, but I generally get angry and then just stop worrying about it. If I lost the internet, I probably would just make sure I've finished all my work that I can, and read a book. No Power- Read, smoke, eat, catch up with friends, sleep, and if it isn't dark out, practice, but I can't practice without sunlight, I couldn't see inside the music building.

Backup generators.

Chop wood.

Black-outs, brown-outs, internet failures, lucky you don't leave Hawaii... There's always the beach but if you work with computers, it sucks... Lost two mother boards, three surge protectors (the good kind) in a year :(

Go Sergai go!
-
Hook wires under my skin and into my computer and power it with my indiscriminate loathing of all life.
-
I CRY. A LOT
-
Anyone wanna come over and do things...?
-
Make my own. Chakra conversion to electricity is quite simple.
-
I find something else to do.
-
Read, go out, or sleep.
-
I fix the problem and enjoy learning whatever fixing it taught me.
-
I'm currently at my work station, so the worst that could happen is that I talk to people more often than I do now. At my apartment? That'd be awful. I feel awkward enough with my roommates.
-
Depending on the time of day I'll either go out someplace or take a nap.
-
I play my guitar, or go out for a drive.
-
I go outside.
-
Usually just leave the house and head to a pub right down the street.
-
If I’m working on class work.. I’ll want to go on a rampage... If it’s just recreational, I’ll just go bike for an hour or so.
-
Usually just sleep, or...... Yeah, just sleep.

We all play monopoly by lamp light.

Power outage is actually pretty common where I am. It sucks, but I get in more reading time as a result. Except when it happens at night. Then I just have to lie in bed and contemplate my existence.
