As some of you may know, I am currently working on indie games with some of my friends. We call our team Atrium Games and recently we have been having trouble getting inspired to get done what we need to, so I went out and wrote a mission statement to remind both them and me why we do what we do. Let me know what you think of it. Our mission at Atrium Games is to prove to the world that nobody is too old, young, smart, dumb, conflicted, outrageous, or just plain crazy to follow their dreams. The odds only matter when you let them. If you truly want something, if when you think about it you get a fire stirring inside you, if you 100% believe you can achieve it, then don’t let anything stop you! Don’t let your parents stop you, don’t let your friends stop you, don’t let your co-workers stop you, don’t even let the circumstances of your life stop you because in the end the only person who can accomplish your goals is you! Nobody but you can make things happen, and don’t you forget it for one second because in that one second you could lose sight of everything you dreamed about. What have you got then? A dumpster full of what ifs and could have beens. Don’t lose sight of your dreams. We are nothing without our dreams, but we have the potential to be anything with them and that can change the world forever.
