To start things off I didn't really like the main story of Bioshock Infinite (here are some of the reasons why).
I did however love the story and the characters in the original Bioshock. Rapture just made a lot more sense than Columbia ever did.
My thoughts on Burial at Sea part 2:
I expected to see an end to the Elizabeth/Booker story but holy shit they tied EVERYTHING together! Not to get too spoilerish but they got Suchong, Atlas, Songbird, Fitzroy, and even Jack involved. It certainly gave some more dimensions to the story.
The gameplay in BaS2 was IMO a lot better (once I realized that the weapon wheel was back) than the gameplay in Infinite, there were no Tommy guns though which was kind of disappointing.
Now for some of the things that I would have liked to see.
An elimination of the "kill Hitler paradox" that occurs at the end of the main story would have been nice. The plot holes and paradoxes were apart from the gameplay some of my main concerns with Infinite.
And a more elaborate ending to the Lutece story would also have been nice. I mean seriously, are they good? are they bad? was this their plan all along?
All in all I think Ken Levine and Irrational Games did a fantastic job with their last Bioshock project. I definitely recommend getting the Burial at Sea expansions. They're IMO better than the main game (especially story wise). If you liked Bioshock 1 then you'll most likely love Burial at Sea.
And now I want to play Bioshock 1 again.
