I got in trouble for saying Creationism was a joke in Zoology, today
A guy gave this presentation thing about dinosaurs, and another one tried to "correct" him by saying dinosaurs couldn't be older than 6000 years because the earth is only that old. I said, quote "Creationism is a joke". He and some other guy got buttmad and I got lectured after class by an administrator for "saying offensive things that suppress other students' beliefs", and said next time I'd be written up for harassment and/or disrupting class. This administrator happens to be the wife of a deacon at the church my family goes to.
At least my teacher was cool about it.

Why did you get in trouble? It is a joke. You were correcting an idiot who tried to incorrectly correct another student. You should have complained that the dumbass religious student was hindering the learning environment by talking about fairy tales.
