This is something I would like the guys and gals at Bungie to read.
I know it is very unlikely that anyone at Bungie will ever read this, but please put these some ware in the game. Possibly in a place that is incredibly difficult to reach, protected by guardians of some kind, or possibly hidden inside of the Traveler itself?
.1 Greed: A land mine players lay it down and it looks like in game money. When players try to pick it up it explodes.
.2 Gluttony: Gun that creates a small black hole that sucks up anything in a small radius.(Weapons, ammo, and players) Killing them instantly.
.3 Lust: Similar to greed except appears as a weapon.
.4 Wrath: an incredibly powerful Machine gun that has a very short range, a reticle that covers most of the screen, and explosive armor piercing rounds.
.5 Sloth: A large Rocket launcher that causes the player to travel at less than half speed and shoots orbs that cause other players to stop moving entirely.
.6 Envy: A blob of seemingly liquid metal that takes the form and stats of the strongest weapon in area.
.7 Pride: A set of swords one burns with heat, the other crackles with electricity.
And please to anyone who reads this please like and maybe it will make it all the way to Bungie. Also Tell me what is your favorite, any changes you would make, and how you would use them if at all.

Edited by Hylebos: 4/6/2014 5:57:48 PMVideos contains spoilers of puzzles from Braid, but it serves to help illustrate a later point if you haven't played the game. Weapons themed around the Seven Deadly Sins would be cool, though I'd personally prefer a design that offers great utillity that come as a double edged sword. For example, your implementation of Sloth for example makes it a very powerful Rocket Launcher, and it definitely is thematic what with the slows and such, but it's really just power on top of power with no draw backs. That's not terribly interesting I feel, we can aspire to something greater :) For your consideration, a more interesting implementation of Sloth would be one where the Rocket travels super slowly, but it in turn slows everything in the world around it, making it less of a "Yeah it's a rocket that also stops you in your tracks so I can kill you super easily" and more of an interesting physics toy. If you're having trouble visualizing the effect, imagine it as something along the lines of building Tim's Ring from Braid into the tip of a rocket and then firing it at people, though it probably wouldn't be as dramatic of an effect and global as it is in Braid. Perhaps even taking out the Rocket Launcher slows you down a little bit, it would be a very flavorful abillity to play with.
