I think this song

is awesome, but I also want to serve my country
I think people picking their nose(particularly women) is gross but I do it all the time
I say pop music is trash but I actually like some of it, same with country.
How do you contradict yourself?
In what ways do you combat this?
-
I defend Halo 4 to the extreme but can't play it without getting bored in less than an hour.
-
I talk about how your mom is trash, yet I still get under the covers with her
-
I respond to bigots differently than more openminded people. Doing so indicates that I give preferential treatment to one group, while disregarding the other group. My behavior is therefore bigotry. This bothers me. I am a bigot and yet I can't stand bigots.

Edited by Auttumnnnn: 4/4/2014 6:51:32 PMI always tell friends that others' opinions don't matter, when I myself care way too much about what people think of me.
-
I always talk about anti-Govt but my dad is part of the DoD and I plan to go into that Officer life
-
This pretty much sums me up.
-
It's not so much hypocrisy as it is irony. I value responsibility and intelligence very much, but I was created from a lack thereof.
-
I value taking responsibility and intelligence very highly. However, I often shirk responsibility and fail to apply my intelligence to the full. I wouldn't call it hypocrisy so much as a recognition of my self-inflicted shortcomings.
-
Im not.

Edited by burritosenior: 4/4/2014 2:04:00 PMI buy all my music and games because I am not OK with stealing even if it is online thievery. I may have torrented a game, South Park, a few weeks ago. In related news, I hypothetically might feel so guilty about it that it has just been sitting on my computer untouched for the last month. Hypothetically of course.
-
In my class I tell everyone to shut up. Two seconds later, I start talking.
-
I hate those annoying kids that state their opinions all the time. Though it is only because I am too afraid to state my own.
-
My humour.

Edited by Madman Mordo: 4/4/2014 12:11:43 PMI am an avid supporter of taxation proportionate to your income, but I'm also not looking forward to paying 30-40% tax when I start climbing the career ladder, if I even do climb it at all. I know it's a much preferable policy to flat tax rate, but...still. I guess I am slightly contradictory like that.

I avidly support pro-choice legislation and any laws that improve women's rights and safety; but I think women in general are annoying and unintelligent. There are, of course, some exceptions; but they are rare.
