How does it save money if it charges you a percentage of your income, which increases the longer you aren't enrolled?
Seems like it pushes the middle class into poverty who can't afford it.

It's only affordable if healthy young males enroll in great enough numbers to support the system, so it penalized those healthy young males who won't enroll because they don't think they need to buy in to the health insurance scam. The poor people already signed up, they aren't the ones affected by this.
