Lets get this straight right off the bat. Prepare yourself for the long post kiddos. I am in no way a saint, and undeserving of bans. Ive had plenty. But when i get one, i readjust how i post, and react to try to avoid one in the future. I like to ride the line of whats acceptable. But the current system is bullshit in all honesty. Here is where i have a huge issue with the system. I found a thread in a private group about white knighting to be hilarious, especially concerning the OP of it, and his ability to go from 0 to jimmies rustled in a single post, and decided to parody and mock his point. Now here is why i parodied it, he called me a troll nonstop, which i enjoy rustling people up for fun, but id hardly consider myself a full time troll. So flood, i have to ask, what could have possibly earned a ban, in the OP? Was the person i was mocking really insulted by it? Is the current report system even worthwhile, or can there be abuse of it as it currently stands? Currently as i seem if you can get enough reports, a person can be banned for any reason, as long as it gets the numbers. I know the ninjas are claiming to only do it if they agree, but seriously, in that thread, what would have been a good reason. There are several other members, who spam the mains with shit posting, attack members for nonsensical reasons, bypass filters, post NSFW content, and they dont receive bans, but the second i hurt your feelings, ban. Finally, the fact that when you get a ban, you dont get a clear cut reason, nor who banned you, so you can ask why, to understand, is really -blam!-tarded. Shadows with her blogs and shit posting, camnator with his over zealous bigotry and screaming of opinions, and many many others, obviously int he old forum they would have been banned, bu not here, be a bigot, racist, act like a super douche, but hurt someones feelings, and get banned. And for the record, no my Jimmies arent rustled, im just astounded that i got a ban for that thread, as a few others have sent me PMs saying the same.
