Starting today, 343 Industries has announced that they will be distributing the Eternal armor effect for the next week.
The armor effect may be acquired by making a purchase through the Halo Waypoint store or by purchasing Halo: Spartan Assault through the Microsoft store.
Upon purchase, an email will be sent to the address associated to your Xbox Live gamertag. The code within the email may then be redeemed under the "Classified" section of your Halo Waypoint profile by hitting the "Redeem Code" button. After successfully redeeming the code on Halo Waypoint, the armor effect will be available to download onto your console for use in Halo Reach. [/quote]

I got it for free back when Reach had more than 1000 population in matchmaking, and you didn't need to spend $10 dollars to get it. So yeah, good deal, right?

It would have been better if they were giving away the Haunted Helmet.

Not a Giveaway if it isn't free.
