I share a few classes with her, we're kind of friends, and I don't know how to take it to the next level. We talk in class, never anything serious really, just about our music class or hey have you heard ____'s new album. I want to make this a more-than-just-friends thing, but I don't know how to tell her that. Any advice?

Toast/Envelope. Beyond that, straightforward honesty is always a good idea. Always have something nice to say, and make sure you don't spend too much time talking about yourself. Some is good, a lot makes you sound full of yourself. Feel free to do impressive things, but it is an absolute must that you play it off as though it's something normal for you. Don't even mention it unless she says something. Ask her to hang out, nothing serious at first, then do it more often and start going on longer trips/outings. Above all, ask her out. There comes a point when building up to that point just becomes stalling, and you never want to be in that position. Anything else?
