Yo Cow G- thanks buddy! I modeled everything in Rhino3D & ran it through my Afinia 3D Printer... But if you mean the actual 3D .stl to slice software, Afinia has it's own proprietary software suite.

Edited by COW GUY: 3/24/2014 12:09:37 AMThanks for the info. I use my schools maker bot with solid works. However, I can't print anything big or weapinish.

Right on man. I work in SW too, but for organic looking stuff Rhino is easier. Ah the Makerbot... we have a Replicator 2 at one of my studios... not a fan... hopefully they'll get better now that they were bought out. And I am NOT a PLA guy, can't stand working with the stuff. HAHA... "can't"? or "they won't let you"? lol

They won't let me. *sigh*. I wish I had my own.

Don't fret man, they're coming out so quick now & the prices are dropping like mad. I got my first personal machine almost 4 years ago & it was well over 3 grand at the time... but I just recently bought a second little Afinia machine used for only 9Hundy! ... unbelievable... just put away your pennies like I do & you'll have one before you know it! ;)

Can you give me a link to a page about the printer you bought?
