Lookin' good. Out of curiosity, did you ever browse the good ol' 405th Infantry forum? A lot of Halo Cosplayers and replica enthusiast goon over recreating props from the Bungie games so it's worth a look.
For what it's worth, I think Thorn would look fine even without any LED attachments and what not. It's a great design. Impractical, maybe, but cool nontheless.

Yeah, y'know I think I still have a login there... let's see... what did I do with it... *rummaging through pile*... haha Yeah I used to check that site out quite a bit, haven't been on in a while tho- Thanks man, I kinda like the fact that it's such a organic/twisted design... feels like it's partially alive. That's why I've rigged up a pulsing led circuit (vid to come...) so it almost looks like it's breathing... haha.
