Video back up and working!
This is my review for the new MGS game. The winner announcement is within the video.

Would it be worth buying if I were to take down the price a bit by trading in Dead Rising 3? I'm not a huge fan of it and Metal Gear has caught my interest recently.

I agree with the score you gave the game, although honestly I feel that this game is well deserving of its $30 dollar price tag, for someone who is in love with MSG. The Metal Gear Solid series is one of my favorites in gaming, and this game has so much replay value, innovation, and breath taking visuals to value the package at $30. The game, as you said, looks breathtaking. The elements introduced by open world gameplay works so well in this series it's a shame it hasn't been in past installments, and that's just this Cuban Base, have you seen the Red Band Trailer? Each individual side mission has gave me at least a solid 3 hours of gameplay, as I desperately tried to get all the trials and cassette tapes. This game is "Solid", and as it saddens me to hear that Kojima will no longer be involved in the series after The Phantom Pain, I really hope he sends this series off with a bang.
Assuming there will be no more MSG entries after The Phantom Pain.
You should have mentioned it was 30 for next gen but about 20 for current gen. Hell I bought mine yesterday digitally for 20 pounds and it is totally worth that. Also, if you keep up with MGS, you don't even really need to play GZ to know what happens next, especially since the '13 GDC trailer basically shows you the ending and you make out the rest yourself easily. You don't NEED GZ to understand the plot for TTP but it helps of course.

Only a few things you really need to get out of GZ to understand TPP. Though to understand TPP entirely you probably want to go play MGS3 and PW. MAYBE MGS1 and 2
