I think I just had my First Lucid Dream! I'm posting this on B.net because when I joined people were talking about these. So it's been awhile since anyone has discussed something this interesting.
So before I fell asleep I was thinking about work in the morning. Well next thing I know I'm thinking about myself sleeping. It felt like being aware your dreaming so you just do whatever with out caring. So next thing I know I'm racing motor cycles and I was actually deciding where I were to turn.
Well when I noticed I just took control of my environment I got excited and realized it may be a lucid dream. That's when I woke up then I remember reading that your not suppose to get excited on your first time so don't you wake yourself up. :/
Have you guys experienced a Lucid Dream?

I had a lucid dream once. It turned into a wet dream and I woke up.

Freaking awesome, I love the introduction of an interesting topic. Haven't had one in ages. I've heard that trying the Uberman sleeping cycle can assist with lucid dreaming. Uberman consists of taking 30 minutes in-between every 4 hours in a day. Cool shit.

As a child I had a lot of lucid dreams, nearly every consecutive dream I was in control but now I don't actually remember anything. I go to sleep, it's all black for like 5 minutes and then I'm awake.
-
Wait.. You lucid dreamt and didn't have sex with every hot celebrity ever? Fake
-
YEAH. I WAS WALKING DOWN A HALLWAY AND WAS LIKE "WTF AM I IN A DREAM?" THEN I STARTED RUNNING AT SUPER SPEED AND I WAS LIKE "I AM IN A DREAM" SO I STARTED SLAPPING MY BROTHER OVER AND OVER YELLING "I'M HAVING A LUCID DREAM STUPID!" UNTIL I WOKE UP.

My lucid, well actually all my dreams are really stupid. My favorite though is probably when I landed a space shuttle in a McDonalds. I then proceeded to have some McDonalds, even though I knew I wouldn't taste it. Except I did taste it. So, whatever.

I honestly don't know. While still calm and non-traumatizing, my dreams can be crazy and weird sometimes, and I kind of feel awake enough to actually watch them like a spectator, so I have no idea. What I want to know, though, is how the brain can compress seven or more hours into, at most, like fifteen minutes of dreams. Sleep is weird.

Edited by ElfinAinu: 3/16/2014 9:57:07 AMWell done on a lucid dream. And I can't believe it's been a year since we lost the top topic lucid guide id made. Everyone was trying it back then and we had like 2000 replies. I've lost track of how many I've had, have them every.night but my diary records them.

Yes, but most of them are weird and I don't want to discuss it. Let's just say there are ALWAYS parasitic xenomorphs in my dreams.

I have lucid sex dreams sometimes. It's weird.

I lucid dream every night by listening to binaural beats. I love psychedelics and hallucinogens so i love to experience a different type while sleeping.

Edited by Doodling Hitman: 3/16/2014 9:55:18 AMI've had a total of 3 lucid dreams. They were all short though, but every second was awesome! I don't understand why I forget that I am lucid dreaming. The 2nd time I realized it I was like "Okay dude, don't get too excited!" But I kinda did but I could still control myself in time and stay in my dream. But just a few moments later I forgot I was dreaming and the normal wacky shit continued on. I don't understand why I never know I am dreaming anymore. I always dream about crazy shit! How come I don't know it's not real?

How long have you been working? I'm guessing you just started a new job. Would you say that there has been a change for the better in your life recently? Do you feel more in control of your direction in life?
