Lol it's obvious you've never watched the show. They hardly ever talk about Jesus, and the only time they do is when they're praying at the end or if there is something involving their church. None of them play the banjo, so I'm not sure where you're getting that, and they don't have redneck accents except maybe for Si because you can't understand half the things he says. At the very most, they have a modest Louisiana accent. All of them have college degrees except for Phil (who started the business) and despite their childish behavior, they are indeed very intelligent people. The fact that you are so disgusted by them is probably due to the fact that they are a tight-nit family who holds to traditional American values, prays before their meals, and who likes to hunt. It's a liberal's worst nightmare! God forbid that someone have a different lifestyle than them. Nowhere did he say that God nor anyone in his family hates homosexuals. He said that he does not agree with how they live, but that he still loves everyone and it's not his place to judge people.
