So yeah, game just released on PC, played a good bit and here is what I think right now.... Ok, after watching the Black Friday trilogy earlier, the game takes place after those events. The game starts off with 70s style animation that reminds me of that old Lord of The Rings movie, it sets everything up nicely in the good ole South Park style.
The graphics options for the PC are none existent, which I think is ok considering that it is pretty much and interactive version of the show. You cant really show off some awesome lighting, tessellation of what ever in this. The game only took about T-Minus 10 seconds to start getting funny and a few more to get hilarious and vulgar. I mean seriously, one of the first things you can do is take a dump! Then you can pick it up and use it as a weapon, it is called the "Shit Nugget"... I am not joking.
Before anything you can customize your own character to pretty satisfying results. The game even pokes fun at how your character cannot talk and even breaks the 4th wall every once in a while. It is pretty much aware that it is a game, and does everything to the 100th degree. Such as putting LOTS of references to past episodes, you can go look in Cartmans closet and see lots of stuff in there, such as the Faith +1 records.
Everything is great fan service, but how is it the actual game stuff?
Well, surprisingly deep! I am not usually one for turn based combat, but this is EXTREMELY satisfying and it requires a bit of strategy. The game does a great, and memorable job at teaching you everything you need to know, all while giving you a few laughs. You can also customize your character even more with level specific weapons, gear, potions, everything to get you going.
I know Im being pretty vague, but I am trying to keep it as fresh as I can for you guys. Just know that this game is actually pretty awesome!

Good to hear, I've been wanting to play it. I'm just going to wait for the price to drop a bit.

Well, at least it's a funny way to censor something.....still Australia is the same backwards ass country in this category again.
-
You fought Al Gore yet?
-
It's probably the best game I've played in the past 6 years.
-
This game looks fun but i wouldn't get alot of the references from it because i haven't watched the show since like 08'
-
Ending is hilarious. Just wish some of the achievements weren't so annoying.
-
Looks cool, but it appears to have been Australia'd.
-
who would play this crap
-
I REALLY want to play it!
-
I've never really watched the series, but this still looks hilarious and a good game.

Edited by sims3k: 3/4/2014 3:41:07 PMLow violence version in AU for -blam!-s sake, after reading this thread i go on steam and see "AVAILABLE NOW: SOUTH PARK S.O.T." I buy it and download it within 20 minutes but i cant play... why? Not released in Australia yet. I have to wait 22 hours. -blam!-ing politics bullshit, how you gonna delay launching a digital title just because its a different country? Available March 4 worldwide! Except Australia, them dicks need to wait till March 6, plus they get it censored

I looks great but I think I'm gonna wait a bit to pick it up, I'm gonna be too busy with Titanfall!
-
Planning on picking it up later today for the Xbox. It looks insanely good and though I haven't really liked recent seasons, they clearly put a lot of thought into this game.
