I learned in health class that marijuana is bad for your health physically. Is that true or is my class a bunch of bs?
-
No weed is not bad, alcohol is bad. Case closed.
-
Morally yes. Health wise? Any smoke in your lungs is bad and I'm pretty sure there's more it does. Bit noticing noticeable
-
Drugs are bad mmkay?
-
Is CoD bad? Yes so the answer is yes
-
I think it would be bad if you felt like you needed weed to be happy. Even though it's not considered addictive, you could still develop a psychological dependence if you are not careful.
-
It really depends. The biggest concerns over weed are memory loss, laziness, "gate way drug" and of course psychosis and death. Yes, you can be lazy and forgetful when high. That's just one of the side effects of the drugs in cannabis. Granted it can stay in your system for up to two weeks after use, but these levels are tiny compared to when high. Personally I do notice a big change in my energy and memory about a week after using, but I'm not aware of being deficient in that week. So long as you don't take it all day every day it's not going to ruin your life. It can even inspire people creatively, philosophically or scientifically both whilst high and after using, on top of its pain relieving properties. As for being a "gateway drug" it all depends on who you know and how you are. The theory being if you do weed, you'll come into contact with people who do harder drugs and get addicted. But that's entirely your choice. I get offered coke, mkat, speed and ecstasy all the time, but I say no. Now for the two big ones. Psychosis. The effect cannabis has on your system is from 6 different drugs. The one everyone knows about is THC. This gives you a shorter, more intense high and is also a psychotic. The other big contributor to a high is CBD. This gives a more mellow, longer lasting high. It's also a powerful antipsychotic. Most strains of cannabis have roughly equal amounts of the two drugs in them. The big exception being the UK. For reasons I don't know most plants grown in the UK have lower levels of CBD than elsewhere. Finally death. There's a really good article on Wikipedia here about the effects of cannabis. There's never been a single death from cannabis OD. It lowers your blood pressure, so if you smoke a lot it can exacerbate an existing condition, but otherwise it's safe.

yep your brain is slowed temporarily but with continued use becomes permanent and it ruins lungs
-
Nope. It is not.
-
It's physically bad maybe in the sense it will provide a happiness you would normally get from being physically active and strong. But relative to other addictive substances I don't consider it bad, I'd rather have a pothead relative than an alcoholic.
-
Inhaling smoke of any kind in your lungs is bad. However weed, when consumed other ways, is fine.
-
It's bad, but cigarettes are worse
-
Inhaling any smoke is bad no matter the source
-
Not as bad as cigarettes
-
-
Yes it will kill you if you ingest thc in any manner.. Lmao nah it's good for you buddy. Toke up :)
-
Yes it is. It kills off brain cells and literally makes you stupider.
-
Yes. Very.
-
Yeah its bad. Dont mess.
-
Nate dogg said it best Hey hey Hey hey Smoke weed Everyday
-
No it isn't if used responsibly after the brain is fully developed.
-
It does wonders for your mind believe me
-
It's not. Schools aren't always up-to-date on all the scientific lingo. They're mostly just there to instill the older generation's social values.
-
It depends......are you adding black tar heroin to it? If not, then no.
-
-
Nope.
-
Try it for yourself. It's not bad by any means, I don't care what everyone else has said. I try and smoke everyday and have even grown my own plant. If you try and and don't like it, then it's obviously not for you.
