It's a great example of how a beloved classic, but let's face it, slow aging juggernaut can be tweeked to compete with today's faster paced games while doing a first class job of staying true to its roots, a notable accomplishment considering the new management. The population is strong enough that I've never had trouble finding matches in any game type, even when I had a restricted NAT. The whiners on this site who would have prefered the development of H4 be stagnant are the only ones who have a problem with it, and frankly, like with any other scenario, we're better off without those who refuse to adapt. I don't want to hear any garbage about how it's not "real" Halo because it has new features, by those standards Combat Evolved is the only true Halo. Every installment since CE has added new stuff for us to experiment with, for example, dual-wield, the BR & DMR, aesthetic armor customization, armor locking, sprint, evasion & jet packs just to name a few. So when people say it's not "true" or "real" Halo because of the new stuff that came with this particular iteration of the game what they really mean is its not the expirience they had with Halo 3, and it shouldn't be.
