The Same Assassination Moves From Halo 3 - reach.
it would be great.
Wish's for this:
-Double Assassination from behind.
- Assassinating people while in a vehicle just pick them up & slam them down to the GROUND
- Bring Back The Sparta Kick.
- A Martial Art Move
- Funny Assassination's
- Different Assassination move's for each class (Height,Weight) like a Titan slamming a hunter.
- Weapon Specific Assassination's like the ones Ubisoft did with Assassin Creed.
- More Animation For Knife - one hit kill's ETC
Tell me your wish's for this & do you think they could do it?

Assassinations are a travesty in gaming. They are pointless and take away extremely valuable time. The time it takes to complete the animation of an assassination is enough time for the entire enemy team to destroy you with team shots. I couldn't imagine the number of times I accidentally held the melee button down a fraction of a second too long and performed an assassination knowing full well that there were enemies right around the corner. As soon as that stupid animation would start I would set my controller down and wait to die. It's unavoidable. I hate feeling helpless. That's my two cents. Don't get me wrong, they look cool... But in my world every second counts. There are far more important things to focus on IMO.

Halo 3 didn't have assassinations

Like has been said below, we can pretty much bank on this. The variety on the other hand will be the interesting part. Not gunna lie, I loved Reach's moves but thought they were a bit on the repetitive side. Variety is the spice of life.... I'd love to see them use a number of moves that might be classified as martial arts and I'd like for them to keep more of a theme of constant combat rather than breaking combat. The moves worked in Reach and Halo 4 because of limited players per area and enemy ai programmed to basically stop and watch. The same setup may work well for pvp, but the part that bugged me about the use of them in the campaign in Halo was the absolute break in combat when they were used. Vehicle based moves shouldn't force a player to dismount. Instead, they should be quick and brutal while maintaining the momentum of combat. Lets say that a player has the chance for a drive by assassination. Instead of a flying tackle or that overhand spike, they should consider maybe a pistol whip to the back of the neck breaking it at high speed or even a vanity shot animation to the back of the head as they drive by. This is of course assuming they have vehicles that you can ride shotgun on to pull this off. The more interesting part of this is going to be the blatantly larger and quite massive targets like the Cabal. They're going to have to get a lot more articulate with those ones due to the size comparison. I can only imagine that they'd have to resort to using a lot more gun play in the animations or a bit of vaulting/footing compromising to even go about it.

Edited by Bag: 2/28/2014 7:33:03 PMI believe that we can expect to see some sort of assassinations. I'd really like more unique assassinations for each enemy type. Like perhaps ripping the head off a vex for example.
