I for one have never spent my money on them.
-
Never have, never will.
-
Never done it before until Mass Effect 3. I made one $3 purchase of a spectre pack and got a Claymore shotgun. Seeing as we were having trouble completing silvers in the beta it was totally worth it. Of course I know people who have spent more than the value of the game to get worthless junk. I was content with a single purchase.
-
Nope I'm that guy devs hate who will grind out F2P games and never spend a dime.
-
Edited by BaconShelf: 2/28/2014 8:50:50 PMI spent 79p on Spartan Assault credits because, to my knowledge, there is nothing you can get on the XBL marketplace for 79p. Plus, I had exactly 79p.

Warframe did a good job at cleaning me out. But luckily the game is free to start with.
-
black ops 2 cleaned me out.
-
Yep. ME3 got me pretty darned good.
-
I really wanted to be a member on club penguin but never got it. That's the closest I've ever got
-
-
I haven't yet, but I won't say I haven't been tempted. If that's anything to judge by the model is pretty successful :P
-
Only cosmetic items in Path of Exile. I would never play a game that was pay2win, let alone spend money on game changing items.
-
Maybe some on iOS games but other than that no.
-
Edited by Braydzz: 2/28/2014 4:30:50 PMYes. but no shortcut bundles... Well maybe on temple run but that was a free game anyways.
-
Happy Wars, Ascend:HoK, and Angry Birds. Happy Wars actually has a pretty sad story behind it. If you want it, let me know and I'll get back to ya later today.
-
I've bought a couple of things, probably totalling about £10 over all the games and all the purchases.
-
Yes, I've bought DLC before, I've never bought any Pay2Win items however.
-
So, you're that guy who never bought the map packs.
-
I just bought the all parts pack for Armored Core Verdict Day. I'm pretty happy with decision. One Verdict Day was on sale for 7 bucks and the parts pack was 5. It unlocks 194 items and I'm just starting out. For me this wasn't about an edge in multiplayer. I'm clawing through the story mode and I have more fun in the Workshop just fine tuning mechs to deal with each increasingly brutal mission. So it saved me a lot of time and I can still enjoy the game while not getting overly frustrated by lack of diversity because I can't kill the indestructible hopping AC who can't shut up in cut scene.
-
Well, only if there's something I really want (and I really give a shit about the game). Examples: I bought the Halo map packs (all of them...), except for Halol 4. I bought some Gold and one of the Founder's Packs for World of Tanks: 360 Edition I've purchased Car Packs for Forza 5. What I don't do is purchase things like in the shop for Ascend: Hand of Khul or WoW, where you're purchasing a single item. With the Gold and the Founder's Pack for WoT, I got a shitload of stuff with it, therefore it was well worth it. But paying the same price (about $30 USD) for a single sword or other item doesn't make any sense to me.

I am guilty of spending extra point in mass effect 3s multiplayer but that's the only one if ever done. Spending money in free to play games is retarded and you should feel bad for giving them you money. ie WSOP and happy wars
-
Isn't this what all EA games are based on?
-
Nothing cosmetic. I'll occasionally but level packs for mobile games I enjoy.
-
No. I'm not supporting microtransactions.
-
Yes. Most recently in SWTOR.
-
Edited by TigerTitan: 2/27/2014 1:06:08 PMNope. Not a single one. I don't plan on ever supporting microtransactions. I will quit gaming before I support them.
-
Never, never will. People need to stop supporting that.
