Stress can come in two different ways: Positive or negative.
Negative stress is caused from catastrophic events such as natural disasters, and also comes from life changing events like breaking up with a partner, doing poorly in a class, or stressing about little, unnecessary things.
Positive stress comes from exercising, marriage, moving, going to a new school, and much more.
So tell me, Flood, are you stressed? Do you feel your stress is so overwhelming that you are struggling to deal with it?

Some degree of PTSD and the possibility that I might have more than one personality keep my plate full.
-
I'm a little anxious tonight. And my allergies have made me insufferably sick for the last 2 days. Other than that I'm okay.
-
I... No... For the first time in 9 months... No... Even things that should stress me, don't. It's kind of nice actually.

I'm stressed but it's nothing overwhelming. Just... new. I can safely say I lived under a rock because I didn't "have the money" to try new things when growing up. Hell, we couldn't even afford $20.oo for high school sports. But we had food on the plate and not as much worry about the roof over our head so my parents made it pretty good for me. A bad side effect now though is that most of the world I see for the first time I have to do so on my own. Never got bills through the mail, never got a loan, never paid with credit, never wrote a resume, never been in a job interview... but now I am. Everyone goes through it so it's not particularly stressful to me and I'll get use to it all in time. It's simply my time to learn it now. My own place, my own car (and then BOOM no more car), my own credit, my own debt (but no more debt ^-^), my own bills; I'll get it down eventually. Oh and sometimes I drown my face in ice cream.

I have a balance of eustress and distress. Everyone does.
-
plenty of that wonderful positive stress, but you know, it all moves along pretty well in the end can't complain
-
NEGATIVE FROM BEING BEHIND SO MUCH IN SCHOOL AND POSITIVE BECAUSE SOMETHING SPECIAL MAY HAPPEN TO ME SOON.
-
Who doesn't? I feel like I'm slowly growing more insane.
-
Always.

Edited by Legend To None: 2/26/2014 10:05:09 PMYes I have positive stress. I need to write a 2 page essay, I had some thoughts come to me after lunch today though. Now I'm trying to get more thoughts and write em down for my rough draft that's due tomarrow. After that I have some 2-Dimensional Design assignment which won't be too bad for me,just need more ideas to flow

Yes, because I can't stop procrastinating on the Flood.

Not much. I stress out at my new job but lifting is my stress reliever.

Edited by Jaaake AU: 2/26/2014 8:38:23 PMYes. Not many people outside of my family know this, but in March of last year it got to the point where I tried to kill myself. Everything was just too overwhelming. Was forced to get professional help which has well... Helped. But I'm still quite stressed about a lot of things I've started meditating to help balance it out. 15min a day. And it works to a point!

Yes, stuck overworking. Several colleagues reported sick. Now me and two others are stuck with it.

Yes. My stress has transitioned from being music related to academic related. I had all 90s a few weeks ago and was worrying about my band audition but now I've made second chair and my grades are shit
