Why are halo/xbox fans so bitter to the idea of sony getting a shooter made by Bungie?
First I want to clear up that I own an xbox/halo and really enjoy the halo games. Now why are all of these xbox/halo fanboys complaining all over the internet that destiny is a halo rip off and that bungie needs to be more original. Did I miss something? Destiny is coming out for both consoles and for some reason xbox fans don't like that. "Oh my gosh ps3 and ps4 get early beta access even though in the end we all get the beta. We get awesome exclusive games like titan fall, halo and early acess to call of duty dlc yet bungie is betraying us by letting ps get extra destiny dlc that will most likely become available to us if not a bit later."-xbox fan boy. Bungie is just trying to include their new fanbase and we had and still have halo to enjoy. You would think that since both consoles get the game the arguing would stop but if anything its just made the fighting grow. Can someone explain this bitterness xbox fans are feeling to sony and bungie right now?

1 ReplyI am sorry that you have met the ugly side of xbox gamers. But please know that not all of us are dull minded. You also have to grasp that BUNGiE has been making a series just for Xbox for a very long time. But now they are growing and letting new faces in and some folk hate that. At first I was all for disliking the sony gamers joining us. I've put that all behind because I want to see a bigger and brighter light shine from this. Maybe Destiny will bring Sony and Mirosoft gamers together and break the petty war between us. I've been supporting BUNGiE for almost two decades now. And to see this wonderful place grow even bigger is not a bad thing. We need to show that to both sides. BUNGiE's Destiny will unite us all as gamers and together we will charge forward unto a new generation of gaming! *slow clap*?

1 ReplyAs an Xbox360 player, I don't really care. The game is coming out regardless, and I'll be able to own it just like everyone else. Honestly, I'm happy that PS3/PS4 owners can get a taste of what Xbox players have been able to enjoy for years. I hope that it's something all of us can come together and say, "Destiny is one Mother-Cuffing awesome game!" See you all Star-side.

1 ReplyBecause they've always enjoyed the fact that they had bungie all to themselves. I owned a 360 and I felt that way about halo, but now I have a PS4 and I understand that there is no difference.

No no no. We. The Xbox community are really happy that play station can finally play a bungie game but what leaves a bad taste in our mouths at the beginning (because most of the Xbox community finally got over with) was that play station got early beta acces

For ten years bungie made games just fpr xbox. For ten years we had a comeback to ps users going on about there axis controllers and blueray players. Bungie was a banner tp stand under amd defend the console from all the cod trolls. Some of is have being im this community a long time and have constantly had ps users 'invade' our turf and nonsense like playstation is better. So now that ps ppl are now apart of our community it is like letting the enemy into your home....and bungie opened the doors.

5 RepliesI am also an Xbox gamer. I was a little skeptical at first, but i think it is a good thing. More people get to enjoy their games. Plus they will make more money to make more great games! What makes xbox people mad is that PS4 get exclusives, early access to the beta and stuff like that. It is not that big of deal especially since we don't even know what it is yet. Why get mad if it isn't going to change anything and i will laugh if the early access ends up being only a few hours or a day before xbox.

3 RepliesNobody is 'bitter to the idea of Sony getting a shooter made by Bungie.' In fact, nearly everybody in the community was all for it when it was announced- it was awesome that Bungie was expanding. The issue comes from them getting exclusive/ earlier content, not from them getting anything at all.

I haven't seen many people like that at all. I've seen Xbox users upset that Playstation gets the beta first, but I haven't seen any that are mad about them just having the game.
