Was Britain right to go to war in 1914? How could things have been different?
Up to the run up of 100 year anniversary BBC2 is doing documentaries asking that very question. So, what do you guys think?
-
-
As per agreement yes, where the allies really messed up was at the treaty of Versailles
-
Yes since nobody knew that the war would turn out that badly.
-
Lonepaul didn't ask out his chippy slut, did he make the right call?

Edited by Mods are scary: 2/25/2014 1:52:34 AMThere'd be no war if it weren't for the U.N.'s retarded aloofness. EDIT: Fine, the League of Nations. smh

They made WWII happen. They should have just let Germany rule Europe like they are today.
-
Of course it was right, we couldn't just let Germany run rampant over Europe. The war itself though, what a mess. Nobody was prepared for that shit.
-
No one gives a shit.
-
Who did they call?
-
They would have been dragged in eventually like the Americans were if they didn't go to war in 1914. Besides, everyone thought that this was going to be a quick war lasting a few months. Nobody knew that it was going to escalate into total war.
-
It was probably for the best that we honoured our obligation Belgium. Although the end of the war could've certainly turned out less shit.
-
Shouldn't be called WW 1 just called World War then WW2-World War-Holocuast, and so then WW3 can be World War One-The war that brought every conflict together in one war.

England sucks.
