Let's see how you Floodians drive. I'm in the 5-10 mph over range, however when there's a lot of traffic I try not to drive too fast.

I usually drive under

I'm anywhere from 5 to 15 mph over depending on the road. On the interstate I just go with the flow which is 70-80 mph. The speed limit is 50-55 mph. It's ridiculously slow. I get passed by cops and I'll be doing 70.
-
I do 100 in a 30 zone. 3fast5you

Excessively cautious, I've only driven a bit but I'm not the sort of person to just speed up to save time. 5 Minutes late in this world is better than 5 minutes early for the next.
-
I always drive 5-6 mph over the speed limit unless I'm in a neighborhood or something. Cops usually give a cusion of about 5mph since not everyone's speedometer is exactly accurate. Mine is pretty accurate, so I like to take advantage of the cusion.

Edited by Xmark120: 2/23/2014 7:56:32 PMI used to go well beyond the speed limit, but got scared shitless earlier this year when I almost got stopped by the police. They were measuring the speed of oncoming drivers in front of a 40 km/h area. I drove in there at around 75 km/h, but decreased my speed to around 55 km/h when I saw them, and then entered the area at the appropriate speed. I'm still paranoid about getting a bill, since they had that measuring system pointed at me when I was decreasing my speed or even before. I later found out that the bill could be as high as 1000EUR +, so I started driving appropriately since early January when the event happened.

That last option made me laugh!

I'm 14, not allowed to drive

Defensive driver for the most part. I usually drive about 10 over the speed limit depending on the situation. The vast majority of officers here are really lax on going 10 over. You won't get in trouble for it.
-
I go with the flow of traffic. Generally that's the safe thing to do.
-
I signal every lane change and turn, I check my mirrors, I don't text and drive, I don't talk on the phone while driving, and I sure as -blam!- don't drink and drive. I use a Radar Detector and typically keep it around 10-15mph over the limit on the Highway, 5-10 over on regular roads. Most accidents are caused by driver inattention(probably from paying more attention to Flappy Bird than that 2500lbs piece of equipment your operating), not speeding.
And stop driving slow as -blam!- in the fast lane, I got shit to do and places to be.
Flow of traffic

Always with the flow of traffic. A little faster to keep things moving. On my own? 5-10 over.
-
NO REGARD FOR SAFETY. GO AHEAD, CUT THE BRAKE LINE. I DON'T USE IT ANYWAY.
-
It depends on the traffic. With little to no traffic and nothing on the sides of the streets, speed limits become suggestions. In a business or residential area I try not to dive too fast.

My license got suspended. Before I even had a licence. Do I need to continue?

I'm usually at the speed limit, or around 5 mph over. When I'm on the freeway, I usually go 70-75 mph on a 65 mph speed limit. I've never been pulled over before, so I guess it's ok.
-
Who the hell goes UNDER the speed limit? You're gonna get passed AND get the finger.
-
I just try to go about the same speed as everyone else. If I'm the only car around I go roughly 5 over. But I don't even have my license yet (I'm 15) so as I get more experienced my habits will probably change.
