It was a flagship, but it's not the best in the fleet. That likely goes to the considerably smaller, albeit more well armed all around, Fortress, a 100km long behemoth. Incredible Cross Sections is the book that gave the power for the Acclamator, which while sounding impressive, doesn't really make much sense. We've seen Acclamators bombard planets, we've seem the effects that SW weaponry has in battle, it simply doesn't stack up. If they were really that powerful, and orbital bombardment would be finished in 1 shot with half a continent blown into the atmosphere. But that isn't the case. A lot of more serious fans who are into studying the technology of sci-fi don't really take ICS stats very seriously, judging from the debates I've seen.
