So I've recently played Journey and Rain and literally cried after playing each. Both are beautiful in their own aspects and have mysterious, thought-provoking story lines. With that in mind:
What are some of the best indie games you've played and why?
(P.S. I'm kinda looking to play some new ones)

Edited by Korytyler21: 2/17/2014 4:50:34 PMI would suggest something like Limbo if you haven't played that yet. It's like Journey in that it has to express everything without voice, and the art style is interesting (all greys and blacks pretty much). Also one of those seemingly simple games that ends up with a good bit of challenge in it

Savage Moon Minecraft ( technically) FTL Starbound Kerbal Space Program Flower Journey Planetary Annhilation Dead Nation Wipeout HD ( think its indy anyway)

If you like metroidvania style games, a unique art style, and a funny story play guacamelee. If you want a bit of a mind bender story with fast, fun, and addicting gameplay try hotline Miami
