On a lark I put in Destiny on a search in YouTube and MoreConsole and DestinyUpdates comes up this morning.
Well I caught the latter's latest video, it's about three minutes long on the Shrike that basically comprises of him talking about the personal vehicle, his upcoming mega video, and... sorry everyone there's nothing to talk about right now.
For a game that purportedly supposed to have million of guns and massive maps, it's really just boring. It's boring right now.
We should be hyping the hype out of your game Bungie on twitter, Facebook, and God knows what else on the Internet right now, for free.
And people are. Faith is is strong but... Seriously we... which is everyone on forums and social media from NeoGaf, to Pinterest, and IGN's talk back should be pointing to videos of new gameplay going holy -blam!- I can't wait to play it!
While trolls and haters try to bait, but the new video evidence being displayed even makes them go, yeah I'm getting that under their baiting breaths.
The guys on YouTube are practically doing your marketing jobs with 2013 E3 demo footage day in and day out on reaching the masses to some extent.
Mostly everyone on this forum is already sold lock stock and barrel.
But people on the fence or don't even know need new videos so "Little Jimmy Bungie Fan" can run up to them and go BUY THIS and here's why!
Why is there a lull in this?
I know you want to play it coy. But your free sales force doesn't have anything work with and I keep seeing two things while surfing.
Holy balls I can't wait for this game to come out!
And
What the -blam!- is Destiny? Is that Halo?
That last group is bigger by far because they are the ones who don't spend their time looking at game sites. But they got kids that do.
But hey, I know the GDC is coming and everything is going to change. But c'mon More Consoles and Destiny Updates have been there putting out Destiny content on YouTube and its the same thing in the background over and over while they try to maintain and exuberance for the process and game. Even your forums are in cycle of rut.
At first that's great for the Bungie Mystique, but after awhile and it's been a long while, it gets boring. Deej said he didnt want to be the usher telling you the end of Star Wars.
Well this isn't a five dollar two hour ordeal back in the 70s at a theater for the consumer. This is seventy dollars on the line along with a new console cost of 400 or more riding on the shoulders of the buyer, while millions are riding on the developer's head.
Instead of excitement being the tone for new Ip it's confusion and boredom in early 2014.
The converts are converted. Chop chop on the undecided, the game is going to be here faster that everyone thinks.

We're waiting on the next meaty update, Shrike is cool and all but not much to it.
