Why is Origin a thing? It divides up my PC library, and it basically takes the information on your computer, operating system, and the hardware and software you have installed, and gives it to other companies for marketing. Current games that release on the PC require you to have an Origin account to play them. And you can't play games offline, regardless of whether you own retail or digital. The fact that Origin was hacked back in January doesn't make me any more confident in them, either.
I was thinking about this because of Titanfall. Normally I'd play a FPS on my PC because I prefer M&KB controls, but since I have to go through Origin I'm not sure.

I don't like Origin because half the time the service goes down and the other half of the time it crashes when just trying to open it up. The other day i had to reinstall it and turn UAC back on because Origin kept having download errors. Funny thing is the week prior origin was able to download updates for my games just fine. The game client is such a mess.
