A few days ago there was a Naruto thread on /a/. Anyone who goes to /a/ for even a few minutes knows that Naruto is normally not welcome on /a/. However there appeared to be actual discussion of the latest chapter. So I posted:
"Wow, did /a/ finally stop throwing it's childish temper-tantrum and actually let anime & manga discussion on an anime & manga image board?"
Around the same time I posted that, Dub Spammers and other ass holes came into the thread and started spamming the thread to kingdom come. So I started lurking around and have been doing so for the last few days.
4chan doesn't prohibit you from lurking when you're banned, but they don't really give you any notification of the ban unless you post (much like here except you actually get notified when you are banned). So I tried posting in a thread on /cgl/ and I just learned that I've been banned from posting on 4chan for "Trolling outside of /b/" over that post in the Naruto thread.
I'm a bit annoyed, what I said wasn't far from the truth at all, and the proof is in that very thread considering it started to get spammed after I posted that, so I don't know how it was trolling when the thing I actually mentioned happened.
Anyways, the ban actually lifts tomorrow at around 2:00PM, do you guys think I should appeal it or just wait until it lifts? I doubt I'll post much in between (especially on /a/, I browse /a/ once in a Blue Moon) but I do enjoy posting in /cgl/. What do you guys think?
