I am playing Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy Commonwealth forces and I am currently doing the British campaign. Came along a nice town called Grainville where Jerry was holding up, the briefing stated we would see a few panzers, but I didn't expect panthers :(. I finally saw it after it knocked out one of my Churchill's, and immediately ordered my FO (Forward Observer) to get on the horn for some artillery. Fast forward after my scouting's done and I've got a fire mission to an 81mm Mortar battery at battalion for a medium level bombardment straight on top of this beast, sure enough I get two hits, first one bounces off the back deck and the second penetrates the top of the turret killing her with an awesome explosion! Now I will commence an attack on that side of the town since that thing was keeping me pinned down, the Churchill's don't stand a chance in a head on fight with a Panther, now I can move up. This is the only time I have ever seen a mortar knock out a tank, and what a pleasant surprise it was.

Dude, I thought you were talking about a REAL panther. It took me 20 seconds to realize you were talking about a tank, even while staring at the picture.
