I'm hoping Jesse is playing a flashback lex
-
They should rename it to 'The Neverending Trainwreck'.
-
Jesse Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor
lol
Jeremy Irons announced as Batman’s faithful butler Alfred
Unacceptable.

Edited by OptimusPrime 15: 2/4/2014 11:39:23 PMWhy can't they get Christian Bale to be Batman again? I'd take him over Ben Affleck Michael Caine was a great Alfred too.
-
They should have the guy that played Lex Luthor in smallville play him in the film.
-
I don't know how to feel about jesse eisenberg and gal gadot. I guess we'll find out when it comes out.

Thinking about it, I'm okay with Eisenburg as Luthor. The idea of a CEO has changed since Luthor was first introduced, with younger people like Elon Musk or Larry Page being the most prominent business leaders in the world. Why can't Luthor be an up and coming genius like them? A young guy with infinite ambition and the intelligence to achieve those goals can be a good Luthor. Not to mention, Eisenberg is typecasted as an Everyman character often, someone like you or me. Luthor should be an Everyman, with his pro-human ideologies. Someone relatable.

Edited by Madman Mordo: 2/4/2014 9:40:22 PMSimilar to what Angryjoe said, I'm pretty much done taking this project seriously anymore. If they surprise me and it turns out to be good, fantastic. If it ends up being a complete joke like I'm expecting, at least I won't be let down. Either way is fine with me now. I've accepted the circumstances.

Edited by Jor El: 2/4/2014 10:35:48 PM
Jesse Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor
I'm guessing the movie will go something like this? And Eragon's "older friend" is Alfred? Screw this shit.

Edited by U124926: 2/4/2014 9:56:41 PMAs far as the actual plot goes we've been given nothing officially other than what characters are in and not even to what degree they're being used. Still the only definite misstep is Gal Gadot. Setting it back a year is just frustrating and now we know why they did. Also, meanwhile: -Rock in talks with DC - and now "#JohnStewartCanStillWhupSupermansAss"

That Geoff guy is one of the main writers now isn't he. The guy who writes actual Superman comics. Tell me, is this good or bad? Furthermore, this isn't the first time a movie isn't completely rewritten.

I don't mind too much that Affleck is the new batman, I also think Zack Snyder did a terrific job with the first man of steel. I think it'll be good, maybe not perfect canon-wise but it will make for a great movie.
