Any one know if destiny's ranking system will be based on skill?
I play a lot of multiplayer if it's meaningful and competitive and I haven't played multiplayer since halo 3 for a prolonged period of time. I want there to be real conciquences for playing bad and for my team losing so it brings an intensity to the game which brings out the passion of team play and a real desire to win.

Destiny features a compelling storyline, [b][i]competitive multiplayer[/i][/b], cooperative gameplay choices, wide open public combat destinations, and third-person community spaces where you can repair and rearm before going out on your next adventure.
Any ideas or knowledge on this aspect will be helpful

I think we ought to leave Halo behind and think of new ways to do things. Let's move on. Let's do things differently than we did in 2004 or 2007. I know for some of you Halo players this will be difficult. From how I understand Destiny. It's focus will not be competitive play.
