In preparation for X-Men: Days of Future Past I re-watched the last 6 installments and it occurred to me:
In X-Men 2 when Stryker was chained to a broken concrete barrier, the last words he said to Wolverine before the flood presumably drowned him was one day someone will finish what I've started Wolverine!
What exactly did he mean by that? It could be:
* One day someone will create the perfect weapon (even more powerful than Deadpool / Weapon X) who will rid the world of mutants?
* Deadpool returns and Strykers yet to be successor continues expanindg Deadpool's abilities?
* One day someone will create an even more powerful Cerebro to rid the world of Mutants before the X-Men have time to intervene?
What do you think it meant?
I googled it but no answers unfortunately

well, it depends on how much you actually get into the movies. I know I'm like super late on this post, but oh well! Cerebro is awesome. Alex destroyed it but there really hasn't been another creation...yet. Weapon X was, yes Deadpool, made to destroy Wolverine but Deadpool comes back and can actually talk. No I have not seen the movie but there are commercials! Anyway, Stryker could have meant any of those but he could have done it to scare Wolverine.....but that usually doesn't happen.

Rid the world of mutants through one way or another. Its why I wish Sony didn't have the rights to X-men. We can never do M-Day.

Deadpool is already perfect in my eyes.

Maybe it's a lead up to the dead pool movie
