I know there's still a big debate over whether Halo 2: Anniversary is real or not, but we won't know until E3 most likely so we may as we'll discuss it.
My question is, would you still buy Halo 2: Anniversary if it was released in the same fashion the original Halo: Anniversary with no multiplayer except for some map remakes in Halo 4? Also, it's only available on the Xbox One.

I want to see a Scarab walking through the city with the Carrier in the distance. I want to see High Charity and its environments in HD, as well as when the Flood take over. I want to see Delta Halo in new graphics. The multiplayer would be an amazing add on, but campaign is the thing for me.
-
Of course, Halo 2 graaphics are still today so impressive and its panoramas and views are amazing. So I look forward to playe the enchanced version!
-
Halo 2's multiplayer was a buggy mess and is often romanticised to death. I'd rather just get the campaign with better graphics.
-
I prefer to play with classic graphics though, so i just dont see the point in buying it.. anyone else like that?
-
Dude the entire reason I want Halo 2 Anniversary is just to see the campaign in a gworious a High Definition.
-
I would still buy it, but I wouldn't be very happy about it. But then I'd see Halo 2's skyboxes in glorious HD and it wouldn't matter anymore.
-
Absolutely.

Edited by Inyaccurate: 2/3/2014 2:00:42 AMLet's be honest here, an HD Arbiter is all I need to be convinced to buy Halo 2 Anniversary.
-
Yes, I probably would. Multiplayer would definitely interest me more though.
-
It'd be better off without the multiplayer. Bundle in a few H2 maps for Halo 4 and I'm sure people who aren't me will like that, which is cool I guess.

Edited by Jonesxmn: 2/3/2014 8:38:30 AMYes, it'd be a real let down in my eyes if they leave it out. Halo 2 original Xbox is what turned me into a online gamer, it'd be so fun to be brought back to those memories.
-
If it was on the 360, maybe. Not getting an X1 just for H2A.
-
I would much rather have the mp redone over campaign, but I would buy it with or without campaign and with or without mp.
-
Idgaf about multiplayer. I'm only in it for the campaign.
-
Well, seeing as halo 5 is going to take until 2015, I wouldn't mind H2A. That is, if I get bored of destiny and titanfall.
-
If it came with online co-op.
-
I never see a point to a re-make. It's not needed at all and a waste of time.
-
Not sure.... Depends what they add to it. If they added an extra campaign level with the Chief fighting through the Keyship and then riding the piece of metal down through Earth's atmosphere......... Then a big yes. If its just Halo 2 with a graphics toggle between the Bungie original and a new skin that uses Halo 4s crappy designs and that's it.... Then a big big no. For me its mostly about the original multiplayer, but I'm 99% certain that we won't get that.
-
Yes. BUT I would wait until 2015 then to get a xbox one then since I wouldn't miss the experience by getting the game cheaper with Halo 5 (if 5 was good). No multiplayer for H2A I can play it a year later and still enjoy it.
-
I never actually owned an original Xbox, so the chance to finally have Halo 2 is way too good to pass up. It's been years since I've played Halo 2.
-
Considering the probability if online coop, like CE:A yes.
-
Of course. In fact that's what will probably happen. I highly doubt they would make a whole matchmaking system for Halo 2 when halo 5 is around the corner. Doesn't seem worth the effort when looking at it from a business perspective.
-
No unless it's going for a good price. I'd buy it for $15.
-
Halo 2 MP was a broken piece of trash anyway.
-
either way I see it as a cop out for not bothering to actually make a new game.
-
Halo 4 multiplayer is shit. Nobody is gonna buy it if it doesn't have Halo 2 Multiplayer.
