Yeah, I've beaten it. I keep making new saves rather than New Game + games for some reason, though. Probably because + scares me.

I say go for New Game +. Makes some of the boss fights a hell of a lot more tense, especially the DLC bosses. Never has any boss kicked my ass as much as Manus.

The first NG+ should be rather easy, as you get to keep all your equipment from the first playthrough (this was especially easy for me as I had the Obsidian Greatsword, a DLC-only weapon attained from cutting off Kalameet's tail and will get you through the entirety of the game's final half).
