Second Sceen Ideas? The Key Lies In the Ghost!
So, as all of have probably seen, second screen is showing up more often as soon to be norm for all next (now current) gen titles. Do you have any ideas regarding Second Screen in Destiny? I think the obvious one would be the 'Customize your character, get Destiny world changes updates, ect.' BUT WHAT ABOUT THE GHOST! Bungie has stated the ghost will play and important role in the story and gameplay functions in regard to the world (such as the lighting), but what if we could command him with our tablet or smart phone? Wat do flood, discuss...

Updates would be cool if they decide to have events that don't last very long. And maybe S.O.S notifications when your friends lose teammates in the crucible.

1 ReplyVery interesting idea! Personally, I am not a fan of the second screen. I've used it mostly in AC:IV, but honestly I found it more an annoyance than anything- no purpose. I had the app to do the ship missions whenever I was away from my Xbox, sure. But as for any of the other features, like using it for the map or journal and stuff? It was more tedious to look down and use my phone. I know Bungie Mobile is going to be integrated with Destiny in a big way. I just hope it isn't done in a useless way like in my earlier example!

1 ReplyI personally don't like second screen. It seems like too much of a gimmick. "You've got an IPHONE 6-SX? Then download our app and you'll be able to make your ghost do back flips and add a custom nametag inside your armor in case it gets lost!"
