That puts Destiny at a shit-tier level. Why do you guys find this game so exciting if its not a big multiplayer game?
This is basically fucking firefight.

Edited by RizeoftheFallen: 1/25/2014 3:20:05 AMYou know that Bungie already confirmed this, right? It was in the Destiny article in Game Informer. Settle down, it just means you can only have 3 people in a fire team. You can still play with many more players, like a public event for example. Please be respectful on the forums, I'm sure most of the community and Bungie would appreciate it. Thanks.
-
Wow, just wow. If you care so little about Destiny why do you keep coming back here making threads?
-
if u look at the date on the interview ull see that is out dated meaning that ur information could be wrong

Edited by Cypher Alpha: 1/26/2014 11:52:22 AMYour source says nothing about the "limited" player count. The player counts for the different game-modes have yet to be revealed. Larger play counts do not necessarily make a game good or better. You shouldn't be so sure that Destiny will be a "shit-tier" game just because of this single aspect.
-
You can only have 3 per fire team, but whats to stop you from finding one more friend and just letting them follow you?
-
NEWSFLASH Bungie just announced that Destiny's single player is going to be basically it's multiplayer in a SHARED open world where there will be MILLIONS of players to online to play with !
also one team on PvP will most likely be made up of two fire teams
-
Destiny has a limit of 3 per fire team but it's basically an mmo, so there will actually be thousands of people running around in the same world as you at the same time. Plus there is competitive multiplayer with 8 v 8 I believe, and raids which will have a high player count as well. Troll fail.

Edited by MadHaze: 1/24/2014 9:07:29 AMI wouldn't want more than 2 others in my fireteam when I'm playing through the Story mode. At least with 3 there's more chance of you sticking together. The Experience will be better for it. Thanks for the link , even more excited now :)

Who cares bigger isnt always better. Battlefield has had issues galore with its 64 player count. It'll be fine. That's what the pvp and public events are for. The overall breadth of the game is so monsterous that a few less people on the field won't hurt. Just like titanfall so relax it'll be fine.
-
IT WAS A FIIIREFIGHT!!!!!
-
Phantasy Star Online was like that and I don't see anyone complaining about it. And holy cow can you be more of a slowpoke?
-
#hashtagsareforfags lost my shit there

Edited by Glitched: 1/24/2014 4:34:42 AMWell then. Considering there is a limited number of people in this world, who also happen to have Internet access, own a gaming console, and have heard about Destiny... Does that surprise you?
-
Frankly I think its good there's a small player count. I live in a country with shit internet service and I could imagine it would lag like a bitch with to many players, making the game brutally unenjoyable.
-
Its going to be a great experience, the challenge will come from a small group of coordinated players taking on large groups of enemies. Dont think because the fights arent like PS2 this game wont have depth No one expected this to be an MMO
-
Destiny will have one server for everyone but players can be split up into different shards so that they aren't overloaded.
from IGN
-
So where is the player count? Your "Source" fails to provide any of this information.
-
sooo what, only 3 player fireteams outside the tower...(unless your doing raids or events) it means you get to kill more.
-
Firstly, Wheres the question? this seems like more of a statement. Secondly. GIVE ME NUMBERS MAN. If the whole topic is so upsetting, how about including that information in post instead of blabbering an opinion?
