my thoughts:
why would he? Being black was his whole propaganda in his first campaign. plus what more is there for African Americans(or him specifically) to achieve? they're not oppressed anymore. Hardly anyone hates black people just because the color of their skin nowadays(and even so, racism will continue till the end of time. theres nothing you can do about the few racists out there). black people are way beyond the point of trying to get social acceptance. the civil rights movement was like 50 years ago.
so Flood what do you think? Is using the racecard even relevant anymore? If so, how is it?

man, the OP is a mess. black people aren't oppressed anymore? what?
Hardly anyone hates black people just because the color of their skin
so it's okay to hate black people for any reason other than color of their skin??? somehow that makes hating black people not racist? "racism will continue till the end of time. theres nothing you can do about the few racists out there" so racist people aren't responsible for their racist behavior? people shouldn't criticize or fight against racism because racism is just this natural force that you can't do anything about like bad weather or gravity?
black people are way beyond the point of trying to get social acceptance.
wow. just wow.
the civil rights movement was like 50 years ago.
okay? and now it's irrelevant somehow? the US was founded on racism, built on it, but because "the civil rights movement was like 50 ago" now all the racist ideas and racist people are just gone?? you realize there are people older than 50 years of age, right? that they passed down their racist garbage to their kids and those kids passed down their racist garbage and so on.
