Okay, so today is Martin Luther King day, to celebrate the man who brought civil rights for African Americans to the U.S. Wanna know how my white family has celebrated it for as long as I can remember?
We eat fried chicken.
I shit you not. We don't really have a set place to get our fried chicken, but it's usually between Popeye's or KFC. Now that I'm in college, I'll probably get Bojangles to celebrate.
Anyway, the point of this thread is this: Do you guys think my family is racist?
-
My dad insists on talking like this all day. He says he's trying to be "cultural".
-
dickpeniscocktoolprick OT: That's a little racist, but fried chicken is goddamn delicious.
-
African Americans
Can someone explain why Americans call black people African American?
-
If eating fried chicken is racist, then yes. How dare you...
you monster!
Racist jokes =/= racist person

Edited by Nigdalf the Blak: 1/20/2014 6:15:23 PMNo But just because I don't think you're racist doesn't mean someone else won't Also why do you think it matters? It's in your house, either way it doesn't matter what people think

Dont worry, everyone is racist to a certain degree, and if they say they arent, they most likely are just as racist as self proclaimed racists.

It's okay. We all have our quircks. Personally I think I'm moderately prejudice against transgenders. I don't know they just creep me out. Don't hate me, we all have those things about us.
-
Pretty racist if ya ask me.

I eat fried chicken too, not necisseraly today, but in general.
