I have a Turtle Beach X12 I got for $60 and it works good as new two years later with amazing sound. Given that, paying any more just seems a little silly to me.

Lets be real hear OP. If it's for console gaming you payed that much money just so you can hear some asshole trash talking, shitty music being played through the mic or some little kid coming in better quality.
