From what I read a fair few people have had issues with Halo CE on 64 bit, but all of the problems seem to start after the game has been installed.
When the disc is inserted you can hear it spinning but it never loads. In Computer DVD RW Drive (F:) HALO, 0 bytes free of 628 MB, CDFS, pops up, but with no icon or that non-specific one of just a window. When I click it, I just get an hourglass and nothing happens. There is no error message, but when ejecting the disc there is an error message saying "F:\ The device is not ready". DVDs load just fine, but I don't have any other games on disc lying around, CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, to test with so I can't tell if the disc itself is the problem but there is no reason it should be.
Computer: ASUS G75VW
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601)
Processor: Intel Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
Direct X Version: DirectX 11
Any idea where to at least start trying to solve this issue?

Bungie no longer supports Halo. You should take all this to the Halo Waypoint Forums.

If the disk isn't scratched, or smudged, then check out the link. While the question asked isn't the same as your question. I think answer will help nonetheless. Good luck!
