It's all in the title, do you consider android and apple to ducts legitimate gaming platforms, or just a simple app compared to console gaming.
It's all in the title, do you consider android and apple to ducts legitimate gaming platforms, or just a simple app compared to console gaming.
So yeah. I game on a Mac. Haters gonna hate.
-
lol so many votes for no. I really don't understand why
-
full fledged gaming devices? hecksnaw. But there are some small games that are alright for them.
-
No they're bathroom consoles for when you're bored on the shitter.
-
Yes I do. A gamer is someone who plays video games. My grandma is a gamer when she plays angry birds just as much as I am when I play madden and halo.
-
That's like comparing flash games to 3DS. Technically these are games, but so is hangman. No, an iPhone is not a gaming console.
-
They play games, but I wouldn't consider them real gaming devices. Those deceives are for entertainment than gaming. Those games are just there to entertain you for a short period of time. Even with PS Now I wouldn't consider them gaming deceives.
-
You can play games on them, but not use them for gaming.
-
Hell No
-
.... Maybe for small games to pass time when you're waiting for something. Mobile games just feel sub par compared to consoles and actual gaming handheld games.
-
Once I get a controller and Playstation Now, yes, yes I will consider it gaming hardware. Until then, nope.
-
Smart phones can be considered gaming devices but they're only for little games to pass the time with when you don't have access to a console. The only game I really play on my phone is solitaire.
-
They are capable of playing games. So yes. Just because they usually are not capable of playing console level games. Should not mean they are not game hardware. We dont say anything about ps3/360 not being able to play pc games. Or pc playing console games.

Edited by Hayabusam60: 1/14/2014 11:12:43 PMI think it's fun for 10 minutes, but it's not for serious gamers. I do enjoy playing GTA: SA and Minecraft PE on my iPod, so it is a good time killer and if you find the right game, who knows.
-
just a simple app compared to console gaming
I put them on about the same level :3
-
In the scheme of things, the bar for something qualifying as gaming hardware isn't set very high so...
-
Not hardware intended for gaming, but capable of playing games.
-
Phones have limited power supplies so they will never be comparable to the PC mustered rinse
-
I don't consider phones as a gaming platform
