Christianity is the belief and world-view that a man who lived and died in the Roman occupied east coast of the Mediterranean is/was a human incarnation of a deity. Evolution is a scientific model that attempts to explain the processes and mechanisms behind the diversity and history of life on this planet. I don't see the two as "polar opposites on the same spectrum" but as two completely different things/ideas/concepts. Neither of which is altered by the acceptance/belief or even support of any individual.

Can the flood really not go one day without a religious/political thread?
-
Surely we'll see nothing but civil discussion in this thread.

Christianity because I refuse to forsaken my savior

Where's the fifth option?
Bait
Me and Odin.

The OP starts out with basically Marxist ideas. Intelligent Design is an over-arching scientific theory that disputes wholly naturalistic/materialistic accounts of the origin of the universe and the origin of life. ID makes no claim about the age of the earth. ID is not a form of "creationism". I watched "Flight: The Genius of Birds" today with a discerning friend. It is well-narrated, brilliantly photographed, and philosophically compelling. Darwinism has no clue how to explain flight and other features unique to birds.

Evolution is the truth But I still believe in god

You're a bad troll.

I'm Catholic and believe in evolution.

My Ivysaur evolved into a Venusaur

I'm just going to leave this here *proceeds to fly off into the sunset*

The two aren't mutually exclusive. Though if we had to compare which one is more believable, I'd go with the one with evidence and observation.
-
I don't believe in evolution or gravity. But I do believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster
-
Scientology beats all.
-
Evolution is a -blam!-ing fact. supported by hundreds of articles of evidence. The words you're looking for is "Scientific Theory on the Creation of the Universe, AKA the Big Bang."
-
Why not both? Because I'm an atheist. That's why.
-
Why couldn't god have made things and then those things evolved? Now everyone chill out and eat pizza because this isn't important.
-
Christianity would win a fight, because they can change and make shit up as the need arises. If Evolution could hold off their attacks for a few thousand more years, I think it'll win in the end.
-
Both.
-
This makes no sense. Are you implying that the false prophets are part of God's Kingdom?
-
I think you mean "YEC vs Evolution."
