So the other day in Final Fantasy XIV, because they're supposed to be the second best class weapons, and you can't readily compare how they'll affect your character until you have one, I went through the effort of getting the Relic weapon for my Summoner. Wait to find parties for all three of those, then spend 900 of these precious tomes that get you end-game gear with that takes several days to procure normally, then get a weapon that's equal in power but weaker in stat gains to the weapon that Titan on hard mode would have dropped. Which sounds like more -blam!-ing work to you?" Since I've noticed this crap with the weapons that adds fake depth to the game by way of pointless grinding, I've taken it upon myself to go into cities and other areas and /shout, says something in the message box to all players in a wide area, and spread the word of how the weapons that Titan on HM drops are better and more worth it than the status symbol Relic weapons of garbage. /rant and blog
